TOWNES flagship brand Chapter (joinchapter.com) launched in 2013. Chapter is a contemporary menswear brand rooted in simplicity, modernism and function sold to specialty accounts globally.
In Spring 2016, TOWNES also launched Odition, which will follow the Chapter aesthetic and direction with a focus on mobility in menswear, offering an accessible collection around youthful trends for modern life and work.
Originally founded in 1995, then called Ambiguous, TOWNES recently partnered with Scope Imports, Ltd. to re-invigorate the AMBIG brand rooted in skate and reminiscent of the 90’s rebellious youth subculture. For CHAPTER, this line moving forward TOWNES is focused on new design, distribution and marketing efforts to re-launch the brand and its’ positioning in the marketplace.
TOWNES has become a desired partner to many top brands globally for creative direction and branding. Our clients include, but are not limited to Mitsubishi Corporation Urban Development (Marine & Walk – Yokohama, Japan retail property), COLONY 2139 (a Japanese based retail chain launched in collaboration with TOWNES).
TOWNES is also developing a new concept in lifestyle products by creating an apothecary line, Bama & Papa, inspired by Japanese skincare principles and distinct craftsmanship merged with California’s iconic lifestyle and aesthetic. The fragrant apothecary collection will focus on everyday essentials in home and general goods, travel, and skincare products for both men and women. The concept is modern, thoughtful design and craftsmanship to compliment an effortless lifestyle. The collection will bring together quality, creativity, and a unique point of view.
